Would be cool if it could delve more into occult topics as there's usually a higher learning curve in that area.

There would have to be centricity at some point, otherwise OSS sort of dies. Maybe a git link aggregator?

Not dying, just drying up and I'm sure there will be a resurgence. If you look at the companies doing layoffs, the majority of them cater to other tech companies who all seem to be pulling the purse strings tighter.

It can for sure. I felt that way interviewing with Google and Facebook. I typically go for "remote first" companies that either don't have an office presence at all, or companies with a significant number of engineers across

Yep, you should definitely be wary about joining a startup in a drying industry, like B2B. Ask yourself if the customers/clients of said startup are still able to afford spending money on the product. If the customers themselves are an

Man, there's definitely something broken with the cold application process. I'd estimate my success rate of getting an interview from a cold application is something like 1-5%. I almost always resort to referrals or getting lucky

I guess if you are used to the security (or lack thereof) and coast-ability of large tech companies, you might be inclined to stick to the big names. However, I've recently discovered how fulfilling startup work is. Ironically, I feel

Also questionable that they were even selling this content provided by volunteers to begin with. I'm personally excited for the future and hoping for more honest and open practices in this space.

In my experience they were weirdly hostile about a question about supporting live WebSocket feeds of incoming data. SoylentADSB had developed one of those trivial chat applications you do when learning about WebSockets and flamed me for eve

You’ll start realizing the benefit more when you use it on multiple projects. Tailwind will be consistent across your projects where you can’t always say the same for custom CSS.

Yeah I think it's mostly a choice between Tokio and async-std. FWIW I chose Axum in a recent migration from Node. It's not perfect, but I found it to be pretty simple, even with controller/service/data abstractions.
