The only virus protection you'll ever need on smartphones is to know to install only programs from F-Droid: https://f-droid.org

I understand, but I would prefer ZFS since it's way ahead of everything else.

I understand the CDDL is not GPL-compatible, but why is it not acceptable for OpenBSD?

I doubt HAMMER2 will become as mature and complete as ZFS anytime soon. Though it would be better than nothing I guess.

My favorite is the "akaname", a youkai that licks the filth of uncleaned bathrooms leaving the place clean. However its saliva is poisonous and so if you don't clean your bathroom properly, you can succumb to sickness. https

I don't think it's unfortunate that oil paintings don't generate much money. Hopefully books would be at least halfway up the list though.

I would be interested in a breakdown of spending by different demographics. Personally, my grocery spending is pretty low, but art/media spending is almost nonexistent, unless you count my ISP bill.

Seconding the Riot.im/Matrix recommendation. It checks all the right boxes: federated, multiple FOSS clients, multiple FOSS servers, no phone/email requirement, etc.

The discussion is about visibility, not viability. The opening post says: >open source is not that visible in the graphics/animation space

If it makes you feel better, the pilots on those flights are probably going to be more careful than ever now given the incidents.

I switched from DDG to Searx. Both are pretty good, but Searx is actually FOSS while the only reason I was using DDG is because it's not Google. There are actually several Searx instances you can choose: https://github.com&#

I switched to FreeBSD solely because of ZFS, but if I had to use Linux it would be with ZFS too. It's much older and proven. Everything else seems to not be ready yet while ZFS has been stable for years and it keeps advancing ahead of

I wonder if all the work to make ZFS compatible with Linux will help make it more portable to other platforms as well. I really want to be able to use it on OpenBSD, but the prospects were very low last time I checked.

The privacy.resistFingerprinting option will always launch your browser at exactly 1000x1000 size. It's probably preferable to your script.
