It would be to starting giving a chance to other competitors. I have been very comfortable zed except for 2 issues (on Linux). After they are resolved, I will probably start using it 100% of the time.

I am curious. Where did you learn about 64 GB being considered minimum for those things ? I have never heard this. I am able to do all of those things pretty fine with 16gb ram cheap msi laptop.
