That's what I was thinking. Recently got myself a PS4 because they are really affordable now and god damn those loading times are obscene. About an hour to install new game on first disc load - didn't even connect to internet to s

What are you talking about long load times on a PS5? Isn't it supposed to revolutionize gaming by dropping load times altogether because of it's ridiculously ( for a consoles anyways ) fast SSDs? That's what I have heard anyw

I understand why you might want to block those specific countries, but in my personal cybersec experience, most of the malicious traffic actually comes from AWS and other big enterprises, mainly because of compromised servers hosted there.

PlayStation 4 OS is based on FreeBSD, so it certainly has been eyeballed quite extensively. There have been numerous jailbreaks in the past, but I can't tell how many of those were due to FreeBSD itself or just regular webkit exploits.

It's counterproductive to hire people who go against established procedures and built systems at company just because they have high quality opinions about one piece of software or another.

I know people will now argue into oblivion about powershell vs bash, but I actually wonder why was this person hired in first place to manage windows based systems what clearly seems not be his domain of expertise?

I still do, because there is no other game which can match the experience of jump-slide-fps action as this one does, simple as that. Sadly there are only ever two maps where people still play and neither of them roll Dust2 or Ryiadh maps, w

I have much doubt that bot could deploy a code capable of executing on this vintage CPU architecture - security through obsolescence.

I guess that's better than buying 4x 512GB micro sdcards to juggle around, trying to remember which game was on which exact card or where you might have lost one.

Nice project, I wanted to build meme search engine myself one day, but figured Tesseract will fail at most of the memes because of how stylized those have become. So I tuned down my meme source to only /r/bertstrips as those conta

I am currently in the process of migrating my own servers to FreeBSD. So far it's a slow process to learn these new tools, instead of what I am used to, i.e ip addr/route show, iptables, nft list ruleset and different default dire

Chances are that PostgreSQL will be more performant on FreeBSD, but that would require a wee-bit of very specific fine-tuning for specific workload pgsql is doing and it would ultimately be thanks to ZFS, which I think is default on FreeBSD
