If I understand correctly, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne, Mexico City, Tehran and St Louis have a majority streets running slightly askew from due North - South or due East - West. Any ideas why that may be the case?

Nice work. Darwin appears to be cycle capital of Australia, but still falls well short of some of the EU cities. It could be beneficial to have the ability filter out rural councils, and focus on denser urban areas. IMO cycle paths don'
