Huh, I thought Asahi would still be too unpolished on M2 to play games reliably. Could you elaborate on your setup a little? What kind of games do you play? What is performance like? Is it really better than Crossover for example?

Reminds me of the /r/flashlight user (and therefore flashlight enthusiast) who got a power outage in a grocery store [1]. There's probably a guy with decent on-site compute having a great day right now. [1] https://

To be fair I've been using 24h time all my life and I still sometimes say 5 when I meant 15 (3), at least once a year.

I mean, Orion exists (on Mac at least, although I heard there's a Linux version now?). Might not have its own engine built from the ground up, but WebKit is pretty much the next best thing.

This is ignoring a lot of variables, the most obvious of which is that crime rates for people in economically disadvantaged positions are unsurprisingly higher. I was going to explain some of the others when I realized that in the context o

Yep, the memory in the ChatGPT macOS app is also starting to piss me off. I think developers generally dislike ‘hidden’ state, which is what memory essentially becomes.

Not that surprising if the reason you have virtually unlimited compute and programming resources is that you work at the leading short form video app company. They could also have chosen nót to open source it.

For that specific use case you could also try `yazi`[0], which is a TUI file browser that has image (and other filetypes) preview built in. [0] https://github.com/sxyazi/yazi

Even worse than a rubber ducky: the O.MG cable does the same thing, but looks like a regular USB cable. Their Apple Lightning-dupe [0] is my favorite. The creator was on Darknet Diaries a while ago, too. [1] [0] https://shop.hak5
