I am applying for machine learning engineering roles in the Washington DC area, and my goal is to get 90-100k. I will be getting my massters degree from an prestigious school, so I think that will help with my goal.

Awesome! I forgot about that mention. You should see what that research group is doing now. "Radical Atoms" where the material is dynamic and embodies computation. Now they are applying it to food... super fascinating!

I think the color dots are some hash/key to a program. Whenever the camera sees the code in its FOV, the system executes the program. Also, the color code seems to serve as location tracking as well, so the program is projected on the

Super exciting Bret Victor publicly launched this project! On a related note, A professor at MIT, Hiroshi Ishii, has done a lot of work in tangible user interfaces around 2003-2005, you can see more work here: http://tangible.med

I believe it models a distribution of the weights the network after training. Once you can generate samples, you can average the values to get expected mean, which is the improved prediction.

Student enrolled in his Bayesian Machine Learning class ORIE 6741. The formulation of adding bayesian inference to deep learning can be applied to CNN's as well. I plan on using his work on Stochastic Gradient Hamiltonian Monte Carlo t

I think the goal is to incorporate modeling uncertainty and utilizing powerful bayesian inference techniques with deep learning. I understand the terminology sounds gimmicky, but the techniques are very useful and used in current research.

Thats amazing! I wonder how they made the training data to teach the drone how to land, I can assume it is challenging to fly a drone hundreds of times to get a good landing. Unless they had a different model that they could sample from.
