I'm not in the field at all but just generally curious regarding #3. I'm under the impression that a lot of plasticity in our brains is related to sleep, are there areas of AI research following that thread, plasticity at downtime

My understanding of this is that the connectome itself wouldn't be sufficient to simulate human thinking. If I understand correctly the connectome would basically be a map of each neuron to its connections, somewhat like a wiring diagr
