We used to use AnyConnect at work and I found OpenConnect to be a much nicer option: https://www.infradead.org/openconnect/ . The anyconnect app was buggy and a resource hog, but open connect ran smooth. Not sure if it

I recently learned of nvcode: https://github.com/ChristianChiarulli/nvcode . I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s another option in the pre-configured vim space that you might find interesting.

I love Sublime, but like many others have not used it nearly as much in recent years due to how much more powerful VSC is for Python development: do you still do work in Python and if so, does ST4 have a somewhat comparable experience to VS

Could you expand on what is better about macoorts over brew? I quickly got onto the Macports page and saw first off that sudo is needed for updating itself and second that I have to select the right version for my OS: Brew is a single insta

I was really struck by a comment Jonathan Blow made on stream recently: he said he’s never written a parallel for loop in his whole career. I seem to recall the implication being that they’re often not really necessary for performant code.

On the macOS front I’ve only heard of Yabai and amethyst. I settled on amethyst since it didn’t require disabling SIP but I’d be interested to hear about the drawbacks you’ve seen in others. Amethyst seems to work okayish, but I definitely

What you’re describing is already possible with Git: rebase and committing chunk/lines allows you to organize your changes coherently. The trick is finding ways to get into the habit of doing it that way and staying consistent with the
