There is this effect, as with Shakespeare or the Bible, where you read a classic and it seems tacky and common because you read the same references a thousand times without realizing that originally it was the source of those references. Ma

While helping somebody with an assigment during uni studies I realized binary counting is equivalent to computing all the permutations. We used that fact to solve one of many problems in an allnighter. Not very impressive but it felt deeper

I wonder if a tool could parse any terminal output into json in a really dumb and deterministic way: { "lines": [ "line1 bla bla", "line1 bla bla", ], "words"

I would love to see internal data on volume of search at google. Depending on the interpretation of them chatGPT can meet both of your requirements. Personally, I still search instead of chatGPT mostly, but I have seen other users chatGPT m

That is the point. Long book, checking the long context to see if remembers about the first sentence. Or you mean as a test it is better to randomly place the "needle"?

We are arguing semantics but IMO the sincerity is part of painting yourself in a good light. Saying you are perfect is not painting yourself in a good light, but making sure you attribute success also to your colleagues (I did x they did y)

Sometimes I use this to abstract boilerplate https://github.com/cookiecutter/cookiecutter It can use a repo as a template. It supports some interactive questions to choose options but mostly it is jinja templates. Havi

Agree. Alternatively: how much do you earn? Do you mind if I read your physical mail? Can I have a key to your home? I think it is difficult for some people to think about abstract ideas. When you bring it to the physical world everyone und
