I disagree. While quality is subjective popularity is different to quality. Otherwise we would only have marvel movies. Your argument assumes no marketing is manipulating the best selling lists, something known to happen in new york best se

> The authors in best seller's lists may well be immune for a bit longer than others writers, as they're necessarily the top 0.1% of writers The top best selling. Only one of many possible reasons for that might be the quality.

Probably not the most important anecdote, but IIRC his dog (Basset hound) also features in this film, like he did in Ghost in the Shell (inserted as Batou's dog I think). It seems he has a thing for adding it to every film. EDIT: appar

Not saying that does not happen sometimes. In this case, Orwell was a volunteer in the Spanish civil war. I think that places him pretty strongly in the speaking truth to power and not hypocritically.

I really like this aspect of ceramics. Plus, before the clay goes into the kiln and is glazed it can always be recycled, so no guilt.

While I can empathize with this, this is a moral judgement. Price is not determined by fairness, but by offer and demand (and other factors). Otherwise teachers might earn more than football players. I think one could argue they should.

People often say this about bicycles too. It is appealing, but difficult to say. Self-driving cars are being invented and they are allowed (with restrictions). My guess is if the invention had a big corporation behind and enough economic po

I believe, from what I saw in Mathematics, this is a matter of taste. Discovered or invented are 2 perspectives. Some people prefer to think that light is reaching in previously dark corners of knowledge waiting to be discovered(discover).

It is an analogy to mention that is not a far fetched idea that there are limits. As far as I recall, one of the results of Gödel is that a system capable of Arithmetic cannot prove certain things about itself. Aka there are limits within a

It definitely feels weird in htmx. It is easier in React if you are using a centralised state manager, yes. I prefer it, it is more explicit. If you use Context to set state it can come from anywhere. In this sense, it is even easier in Elm
