Surely no single celled organism built a spaceship or other launch system to go into space because it wanted to do so? The ability of humans to willingly create the technology to do it is what counts, in this case.

What confuses me about this is that no one else found it? Being somewhat experienced at game networking and writing server code with this type of exploit(e.g. sending a packet to do something at the other end of the map and processing the r

That's a fair point, but doesn't change the fact that it remained there after the code review that was surely(?) made after implementing blast door. Especially for image parsing APIs, considering they've always been the britt

And still, in 2021, after so many exploits, realizing the futility of trying to fix these bugs and adding their "blast door" process, some Apple dev calls image parsing code where it doesn't belong. The people that are suppos

Yes, this is common in modern sets. Quite a few have the color puke shining through, even if it's fully assembled, which is a common complaint.

Yes, if you don't provide a correct token that is calculated in heavily obfuscated javascript, the CDN will throttle you to kilobyte/s levels, basically making it impossible to watch anything real-time. The common way to deal with

There may not be, but it's a pain in the ass. To strip Kindle books, you need to use an outdated Kindle PC client that uses an old encryption and may or may not break at any point in time, stop it from updating, track down some shifty

Even if you were to find the data somewhere, GitHub grew a lot after MS and added a lot of features, including the now most popular CI, so it's not a great comparison.

How is this going to work? You can't replace cameras, screens or batteries on modern iPhones without the OS falling apart or breaking a sweat until they are re-signed to the phone by Apple, will they patch that out?

Yeah, there's no scopes. Kind of a bad idea, imo, even if you wouldn't be able to read previously encrypted messages. Something like this really needs spec support, to have home servers act as an auth provider + points to the UI t

Also, small java feature phone games! Was always a highlight when someone was "traded" a brand new feature phone game from another school, and it spread through ours within a day.

Something that is mentioned here and not on the main page: the devices form a mesh network and can relay messages between each other. Seems strange, feels like a pretty big selling point.

The German version is more clear, "automatic query" is translated more literally as "automatic callback", by which I assume is meant that the device requests retransmission in case of an error.

I'm not. The 7 day timeout is very annoying and the windows server is spotty, due to the need to have iCloud + iTunes installed. And to periodically reinstall them when it decides that it's time to break.
