Well, admittedly I made it partly for my own personal use and partly for fun. I just thought that most of the sites that did this weren't very well done, or didn't achieve what I was looking for completely. It is a little discouraging to ha

Interesting essay. Kind of distracting how every sentence is followed by two spaces, though. Should listening to music necessarily be considered "consuming"? I go running all the time while listening to instrumentals, and it helps me concen

Cool :) Just a minor nitpick: you may want to try the library method bmp.find_color() instead of your find_init_color() ( http://msanders.github.com/autopy/documentation/api-referenc... ), it should be significantly faster. Also, instead of

Yes, that removes the libpng and zlib dependencies. Those should be statically compiled in on Windows though. Unfortunately, I don't have a Vista installation to test this on, which makes it a bit difficult for me to debug.

Done. Rather messy since github doesn't do redirects, but I suppose it's worth it. By the way, to uninstall the apparently poorly-named pydroid: cd ${PYTHON_DIR}/site-packages/ rm -r pydroid pydroid-0.42-*.egg-info where ${PYTHON_D

http://github.com/msanders/vim-files/blob/master/.vimrc Most of it's just my quirks but I think there's some useful bits in there. My vim setup is _heavily_ customized, for better or for worse.

The processing time was around 4m20s on a MacBook Pro with 3GB RAM. Is this good or bad? One possible speedup I could use is to compress more than one image at a time, although the progress indicator would probably have to become asynchro
