IIRC, putting pipe operator `|>` at end of line prevents the expression from terminating early. Otherwise the newline would terminate it.

That's almost concerning. I wonder if it'd be realistic to 1. put up a whiteboard somewhere 2. observe with some regularity what your routines are right now (non-judgmentally) 3. write them down (descriptively, not prescriptively)

There's kinda not much to it. It's just that you have: 1. a full-fledged programming language 2. no namespacing (nothing is private) 3. no modern GUI concepts to take into account (no CSS `flex-direction`...) 4. no edit-compile-ru

PrismLauncher is excellent, it feels like it found the right level of abstraction. Automates chores without black-boxing what it's doing. And there's a makedeb for it! https://mpr.makedeb.org/packages/prismla

You make it sound as if it's pure aesthetics, but... an interface that makes it easier to undo a change is far from being lipstick on a pig, it's an upgrade in real function.

Most likely the GP who shares location with 30 people just doesn't get into these kinds of situations. Y'know, since they'd have stopped if they did.

There's a skill to phrasing the prompt so the code comes out more reliable. Was some thread on here the other day, where someone said they routinely give Claude many paragraphs specifying what the code should and shouldn't do. Ta

Are you sure you got your info right? I'd not be surprised if they've been stuck at $60 after adjusting for inflation, i.e. costing around $30 in 1995.

Or just YYMMDD, since there's typically not all that many things you create in one day, so you can just browse among the search hits and it'll be obvious which of the hits you had in mind.

You're lucky to regard note names as stable enough that they work as unchanging IDs for you! But is it not then the same thing, because you already "allocated an ID" by naming it? Did you, before coming up with the 4-char ha

Aye, so this is fine as long as there's just one entity generating IDs, so it can automatically check for collision and re-generate. In a distributed system it's another matter. I'm currently using 6 base-40 chars (upcase and

Logseq has buggy syncing and imposes some odd constraints on your files if you want to keep it easy to edit the same file from both Logseq and Emacs, but in principle, it's all there! Not sure if it can execute code blocks tho.

I don't know if importing systemd would make any difference to the system declaration file that you write, where you'd still declare services in the Lispy way. Does it matter if it translates to systemd services under the hood or
