I was in NYC around the time this exhibit was put together and was told by a friend to go, referencing this article. I don’t think I’ve ever connected so strongly with a gallery exhibit as I did for Wacław’s artwork. Something about how int

Personally, such a product is a non-starter if it faces the same restrictions that an iPad does. If I’m spending “pro computer” money, I want the pro computer. Having no way to access the file system or run code is just crazy to me.

Think it’s worth calling out that many people in tech have significant reservations about the reckless push of generative AI into just about every product — the issue is the executive class that insists on chasing hype and potential short-t

given the historical trajectory of OpenAI’s branding, deciding to include “safe” in the name is certainly a choice. It’s very hard to trust that whatever good intentions exist now will hold over the course of this company’s existence.

I got an M1 Max with 64GB RAM when it first came out. It’s been very exciting being able to run some of the latest LLMs (like mixtral) completely locally, it’s not something I anticipated being able to do when purchasing!

Since you prefer to work out from home, consider investing in some equipment for yourself. I have a pretty decked out space in my basement now, but I started small with a pair of adjustable dumbbells and a bench at the end of 2020. I challe

Are you suggesting that Berkeley doesn’t have the resources to properly add audio transcripts to their course content? It really feels like the Overton window on disability rights has shifted in the wrong direction. Just because it’s free,

I definitely struggled with something similar when I first deleted Facebook. It's definitely harder in terms of "discoverability" to connect with people you enjoy spending time with. But over time that difficulty lessened. I

The core problem here is that Apple is still disallowing users from side-loading / installing iOS apps from outside of the official App Store. My question: what is stopping us from demanding a legislative solution that requires Apple t

I’m not sure why the App Store and third party apps couldn’t just co-exist. There is nothing preventing your parents from continuing to use Apple’s sanctioned distribution system even if side-loading were allowed. Why don’t we flip this que
