I use a low folding beach chair that I think my wife got at a CVS or Walgreens store (US). Sorry I don't have a model number or better photo of the whole chair. One "c" clamp is enough to hold a board in place for the laptop.

I also run a business with realtors as customers and I know exactly what you are talking about, some are definitely toxic. That said, I'm sure it's not just a realtor thing but it can seem that way. We try to detect/filter them in the sale
