Unfortunately you need it for some other features of PDFs. For example, if you download the AWS SOC report it has attachments on the PDF (apparently that is a thing?!). You need to open it in Acrobat Reader to extract the attachments. I tri

Slightly off-topic complaint: I really wish these features weren't considered "Enterprise" by so many people. Do you have a company that uses third party tools and has employees that leave? Congrats, you're an "ente

The key words were "literally no money". By tiny startup I meant one or two people without any funding, revenue, and saddled with life expenses like rent, food, college savings, etc. I definitely agree that a DB on EC2 is tech deb

I'll take a shot at this. There is always an asterisk under every one of these. Every company and situation is different. If you're a tiny startup or hobby with literally no money, it might make sense for you to manage it yourself

I'd love for any of these tools to offer : #1 Explicit Document ownership. The primary author, as well as team distro list slapped at the top. #2 Document aging. If a doc goes over X days without review by the author or team, it is lis

Saying that none of the "email data" is stored on your servers is a common way mail clients deflect from the real truth that people are interested in. Our email data traverses through your servers and is stored in memory is it not

What does Google (or others) use for an intranet or team documentation? We're using Quip and it is just a black hole where documents go to die, never be seen again no matter how badly you want to find it.

This reminds me of the awful Cloudfront vulnerability where any jerk can park your domain names in Cloudfront with no verification. One day you'll put one of your domains behind Cloudfront and suddenly they own your website. Scenario:
