You are absolutely right about the searchability aspect. I want a PDF copy of every book I read now (I still prefer to read actually the deadtree copies) so I can find something again later. But until we can demonstrate that digital librari

Brilliant idea/URL. It’s often true though. So many things I think “I could make an app for that” I wind up just using a spreadsheet for. At least it helps me explore the use cases more deeply for when I’d want to actually take it to t

The first amendment in the bill of rights in the US constitution prevents the US government from restricting the speech of US citizens. It doesn’t say anything about foreign nationals with no status in the US. The government also has the au

Nope I just use whatever is in the bag, I don’t care too much about the ratio. But we try to eat lots of carrot/celery sticks for snacks, and I regularly cook things with mirepoix so there’s not exactly a dearth of them.

I just use a fine mesh strainer. If you really want clarified stock, you can simmer it with some egg whites and/or shells, the proteins will agglomerate all the remaining sediment. Strain again and done.

This is an empty platitude, which is why it works so well for corporate PR. In reality, “diversity” is not binary, but is a continuum. And any time you have a continuum, you will have a threshold beyond which a given person cannot tolerate
