It's been an exciting year or so for nuclear in the US. (1) the democratic party switched stances to support nuclear energy (2) the US allowed several small nuclear reactor designs to move forward (3) fusion research got extra funding

It's absurd. This thing happens on the play store. I've seen it happen multiple times due to pure mistakes. It takes an appeal and time to resolve the issue, in the meantime you are stuck. Their appeals form only lets you submit 1

They banned Ron Paul? This is getting insane. He is so far outside the Trump camp. He was the only person to vote against the Iraq war. His voice is a voice of peace and classical liberal values. You might disagree with him, but to ban him

The idea of making this pandemic last longer in order to prevent a future pandemic seems to fail any reasonable cost benefit analysis. That's because it is not based on any such analysis, it's based on people myopically looking at

The problem with this action is it seems it would apply equally to pro-democratic demonstrations in China. I am deeply uncomfortable with censoring things, and don't see any need for it on Facebook or twitter, because both literally ha

I guess to state what I think should be a real solution to this problem: people should have their own AI lawyer that works on their behalf to flag things they might want to object to. I helped build a surprisingly effective prototype of suc

Good article. Its hard not to see the FDA as responsible for >50% of the deaths in the US. Using our prior knowledge about vaccines, we could reasonably expect them to be safe and effective, with no long term side effects (there has only
