It shows pretty much all college sports (at least, all of what's broadcasted on cable anyways -- and then some). Sometimes there's a blackout on a game, which is annoying, though.... It's just not that great for professional

Sports are pretty much the only TV I watch anymore (for the most part) and I stopped paying for cable as soon as I graduated from college (it was included in my rent payment at my apartment down there, otherwise I'd have done it sooner

I don't really have any proof to use to refute your statement, but it seems to me to be a massive over-generalization. What about, for example, Bill Gates, who's been using his wealth to give back, start charities, etc. and plans

Dude. I've often thought about doing exactly this, but I felt like there was probably something already out there and just haven't taken the time to research whether that's true or not. If there's not, and there still is

So much this. I think that in most cases, I can reinvent the wheel if I have to (find my own solution). But why should I? Why not ask Google if there's already a library that does that? It's like pair programming on a massive scal

Oh, definitely. I mean, the basic stuff we learned as kids is important, but I feel like I could learn anything I want to on my own, especially with Google available these days. The school system just feels a bit archaic to me. I hear all o

I didn't want to say this in my post, because honestly OP might have a great social life and just not be enjoying the school part (didn't want to assume). But yes; undergrad was boring as hell for me and I felt I didn't learn

The answer to your question is really, "what do you want to do in life?" (And the answer is still, probably, stay in college) What's your end-goal -- where do you see yourself in 5, 10, 20 years? Do you want to be working at

I've heard from CPAs that have studied the law that Obamacare mostly seems to just be a series of taxes disguised as a healthcare law.

To add to that, this is how I get through the times when I don't "feel like it": I tell myself I'll just sit down and get something done. It doesn't have to be a lot, but I have to sit down and accomplish somethin

It seems odd to me that people still need separate phones for personal/business. Aren't there services that allow you to set up a separate number that goes straight to the same phone? I know Google Voice does that, and lets you ev

Didn't Ray Kroc say something to the effect of McDonald's product not being hamburgers -- anyone can make a better hamburger than McDonald's in their kitchen. McDonald's burgers aren't the best; they're easy to

What banks have savings accounts that yield that much interest? The average yield on a savings account that I've seen is 0.01%. I've seen some "high yield" accounts that can get you 0.03%. If you're talking about mo
