It also had not occurred to me that serious businesses use GSuite. I cannot imagine depending on Google, given their history. I realize I am out of touch. I remain astounded. Market opportunity!

I do feel bad for the victims. I am still astounded. I run two businesses. It never would have occurred to me that Google Drive is something I would use for operational data. [Edit: I get the impression my original comment was interpreted a

I am using GPT-4. It is much better. But I still haven’t had it suggest any new algorithms. It just riffs on what it was trained on, as expected.

Yes, and Wolfram/Mathematic is great when I have figured out which algorithm to use. ChatGPT may even soon help me discover the potential algorithms. It is not helpful to me for that today.

I will be happy to provide value higher up instead of dealing with this frustrating problem. I want the answer, not the code that generates the answer. I am writing that code now because it does not exist yet. So far, I have only had ChatGP

I am currently doing some difficult work that involves figuring out the right computational geometry algorithms to apply to my dataset in order to get the answers my users need in a reasonable time. ChatGPT is of no use to me there. When I

A long time ago, I built a relatively complex program that managed some other systems in awk. It was really a great fit for the problem and I was, at the time, working in an environment with poor developer tooling. The target systems were h

I am less worried about what humans will do and more worried about what corporations, religions, and governments will do. I have been trying to figure out how to put this most succinctly: We already have non-human agentic entities: corporat
