I'm aware of this, but it's still not (). You still must be aware that you are dealing with an unbound proc object, and it must be handled differently than usual!

I feel like there should be an award for that. I feel accomplished when I manage to get car dealerships to compete over me, much less CEOs worth scrillions of dollars.

I feel like, as time progresses linearly and The Simpsons continues to air new episodes, the probability that a given quote perceived to be from history is actually from a Simpsons episode asymptotically approaches 1.

I HATE dealing with first class functions in Ruby. I understand that it was a design choice, but man, in Python you can pass a function or a lambda and you just don't have to worry about which one you're calling. In Ruby, () will explode

It seems somewhat intuitive that filling your stomach with a zero-calorie substance would prevent you from subsequently filling it with other, more fattening substances.

I disagree! Prejudice is simply, "Any preconceived opinion or feeling, whether positive or negative." If we are brought up by our parents to believe that Jewish people have horns, we are prejudiced. If we stick our hand in the fire, and

It's funny how much we demonize prejudice (racism) while simultaneously relying on it for survival (don't stick your hand in the fire). Whoever designed this whole "evolution" nonsense clearly wasn't thinking about social communication at

I feel like a lot of people are responding to this article as if the title is meant to be incendiary; the way a jilted friend spits "Grow up!" at the object of their indignation. I don't think that was the intention, though. I wonder, in

The point of an undergraduate education isn't to learn stuff, it's to learn HOW to learn stuff. In that case, what's the point of a high school education? ;-)
