If I were to guess: Google is detecting the user agent string and attempting to use features that should be supported. e.g. google's code is trying to use some IE11 feature that IE10 didn't support. The compat settings are making

Anyone know of a way to check the model/version data of a drive in an OWC USB 3.0 enclosure? I bought a 2012 MBA with the 128GB drive on release and in early July this year the drive completely spazed out. After a round with Apple'

I was looking at Xero last year and ran into a firm brick wall, from [0]: "There is a daily limit of 1000 API calls that a provider can make against a particular Xero organisation in a rolling 24 hour period." That is an absurdly

Even in the US, it's more than that for anyone that actually needs a PE license. It's usually a test, then X years of experience, then another test. More similar to an electrician's licence than anything.

Great design. One word of caution before anyone runs out and replaces all your smoke detectors: Ask your local fire inspector about it. Fire safety rules are very convoluted and very region/state/city specific and I've run up

The article is from the blog of a Mac only program and it's content is targeted at iOS developers. Windows users aren't remotely in the target market for the article.

For what it's worth when I took my driving test in ~1999 they were called rotaries but the dynamics and physical layout was more like roundabouts from your pdf. i.e. If properly entered there was no 'weave' area, it's ju

I grew up in New England where there are a fair number of 'roundabouts' (or rotorys as we called them). They were part of my driving test to get my license as a teenager. My take on them is that they probably do make traffic flow

I believe that is the point. A human doesn't have the timing/strength to accurately shoot in full auto, a robot possibly can.

I'm curious: Why does Solidworks justify the price tag but Altium doesn't? They are in the same pricing ballpark. Your description of Solidworks sounds very much like why I would choose Altium over Eagle.

Certainly an interest approach for hobbyist work. But, for commercial work Altium is well worth the price in my opinion.

If you're addressing more than 4GB of physical memory (actually, ~3 to 3.5GB ish), you're using PAE, 32 vs 64 bit doesn't have any relevance to this. ARMv8 still uses a modified version of LPAE and x86_64 also uses an extens
