From what I've seen, Americans on either side of the political spectrum react exactly as you might suspect. Those on the left have often maintained BLM movement was largely peaceful and characterise the rioting elements as a symptom of

The UK recently required a 5p charge for plastic bags. As far as I'm aware this has seen an excellent reduction in usage (even that tiny incentive is enough to make customers grab a bag from home instead of being lazy) and hasn't

I believe tsss is referring to things such as terrible AI on PC, and other complaints about the game such as a lack of interactability with the world outside of quests. Not bugs necessarily (although the AI certainly is in a grey area) but

If you're so keen on implying it, wouldn't it be more honest to phrase your sentence accurately? > Black people seem to physically resist arrest more than others. That's really not a smart thing to do, and leads to related

I think this comment is dangerous as it legitimises the (clearly documented) widespread arrests of openly marked journalists behaving entirely non aggressively, almost surely because they were pointing cameras at police officers behaving vi

The "mass" of code is an API controller, not just a way to get settings. It's an example of config use in real code. There are roughly 4 lines of code to get two variables out of the settings.json. This scales quite nicely -

The sheer length of the answer? That's because it shows optional, more advanced ways to get config stuff. Is this so hard? public class AccountController : Controller { private readonly IConfiguration _config;

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding but does this not potentially incentivise political organisations running their opposition's ads (it's probably feasible to do so in such a way that they don't really reach anyone) and then r

This isn't an argument in support of Epic account requirements, but they never lied about it. See here from the initial announcement: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/i7vhcd/_/g14e

Stackoverflow have pretty solid metrics that show large numbers of users find the site unwelcoming. Just because you aren't one of those people doesn't mean that other people can't benefit from changes like this.

If this is in reference to my bringing up of C# - I did so in order to talk about whether or not Go has generic constraints which are unique (which would be awesome!). I used C# as an example of a language that has constraints that are the

I was questioning the uniqueness of the feature is all - it seems to me that there isn't anything unique about the constraints available in Go.
