In general I agree with you but there are plenty of people who will pay big money to be trained by a gold medalist not because it makes sense but just for the title. The gold medalist then has to give the same advice every other trainer wou

It definitely feels to me that the medical system is not really about "health" but about fixing things. A lot of doctors don't live particularly healthy lifestyles, hospitals feed junk food and so on. I am not saying they can

We tried it for a little and concluded that it made nothing really better but a lot of things worse. We just should accept that a tester needs to learn writing code. I wish it were different but Cucumber is not a solution.

I guess the fines will have to be much higher so the dividend is not just slightly lower. If employees knew their job is at stake they may also be less wiling to play along. I work in medical and we sometimes get pressure to cut corners but

Back then ads had often a lot of information because they were often the only way to learn something about the product. Today’s ads have almost no information but are designed to arouse emotions.

There is a gravity wave project that wants to detect gravity waves though satellites. Probably a similar idea. I think the name is “LISA”.

We have a manager who seems to think that the only way to get good performance is to set impossible deadlines. There are no consequences for missing but it’s pretty unpleasant and stressful to have to deal with this.
