This seems like a terrible career move. You have one big customer who has full power over you. Soon they’ll get squeezed left and right. The only way I could see this work would be if they could deliver for other companies like Walmart.

It gives me a little hope that the justices sometimes still had their own opinions instead of just following the party line as they often do.

I may live like that if I knew I had a fallback. Homelessness sucks mainly if it's your only option.

Maybe at some point you will notice that once you have more responsibility in one area it will use up all our time and energy and you simply don't have time to learn other stuff on the side. I am in that situation right now and I thin

You may as well call for a worldwide benevolent dictator. A lot of things could go right.

I always think the we should send CS graduates to a bootcamp to get some coding skills. Or send old-time devs so they get up to speed with newer tech. But starting from zero in 12 weeks seems almost impossible except for a few.

I would call this very scary. Soon a single entity can do full surveillance of the whole planet at reasonable cost. what could go wrong?

Football coaches also don’t have to deal with players that don’t want to be in the team. It’s much more rewarding. You can’t compare The two.

Agreed. If Medicare really pays too little then let’s raise that. But I believe that the current system is much more profitable so they won’t push for raising Medicare in exchange for eliminating the current pricing practices.

There are a lot of things that, if done individually, make sense, but if the whole group does it there is a problem. Leaving your bag behind means that you have to replace it later which costs a lot and takes time. So it makes sense to avoi

"You can't have transparent pricing if medicare comes in and imposed unrealistic pricing. " Why not? You still can publish prices.

You are blaming it on regulation, medicare, malpractice insurance and lawyers. How about also saying that hospital owner, managers and doctors make a killing in this system? They are not victims.

I don't get it either. A lot of people also would find coding as very tedious and boring. You have to be cut out for it.

My problem with bash is that things are not very discoverable. There is so much cool stuff you find out even after ten years of using it daily. I wonder if there is a way to have all its features in a less obscure language.
