What shocked me when I saw Elite for the first time, is the huge number of star systems with their own names, population size and descriptions. I knew there was no way such volume of data in the tiny executable file.

I remember Turbo Pascal 3.0, the one that generated COM files for MS-DOS (like EXE files, but about 2KB smaller). I loved that Turbo.com and COM files 30 years ago! later I started to use Turbo Pascal 5.5 with OO support and a good IDE.

That is correct. Only you need a code signing certificate (EV is even better). And renew them every third year.

IMHO: 1. Company should be small. I worked in a few small companies. One have grown to headcount above 200 and became a swamp full of unmotivated people. 2. There should be great team members. 3. Founders should be software people or engine
