Database administration is more like a "sysadmin of database". IMO not equivalent to the other ones. Data Architecture is like software architecture, so more like high level system design. I do agree though that data engineering

For your switch to ML did you also work on a portfolio of ML projects? If so, what's an example ML project you worked on that you were able to show your future employer?

You can plug its battery to a USB port while using it (according to Apple) so since most plane have charging ports next to every seat it doesn't look like battery capacity will be an issue on (most) planes. Just keep it plugged in whil

I don't think that's it because when I tried casting YT from an account that doesn't have Premium, I get way more ads, i.e. 10-20x as many, and much longer ads, just like in the app, so maybe 100x the total ad time. When I

No it's clearly within Youtube, you can see the countdown within the app. My TV is over 10 years old and I've never seen an ad like this.

I've actually started to get short ads (3-4s) on YT starting about 3-4 months ago even though I've been paying YT premium for years at $18/month. I realized it's only when I cast it to my TV, so maybe that's how the

If it were as simple as “layoffs/cost cutting make stock go up” then CEO’s would have never had hiring surge during Covid. The CEO’s job is always to maximize long term profits. Layoffs make stock go up only when it’s clear profits won

That’s just an excuse the CEO’s are using to avoid blame. They over-hired during 2020 and 2021 “because everyone was doing it” and now they realize they have 10’s of thousands of employees with nothing to do and huge salaries so it makes no

There is a huge difference between one afternoon hitting 108F and then going back down to the 70’s after midnight, and a situation where for multiple days temp reaches upper 110’s in afternoon and still being in the upper 90’s at 3-4am, lik

He never said that guy was a friend or even ever met him, but he was just someone “who commented a lot” on his blog. So just some random blog reader who clearly had mental health issues and who became obsessed with Tim.
