Fantastical really is fantastical! The quick entry and great integrations makes it truly great. It also has a really good menu bar item similar to this project.

There is also a model in and around the natural history museum in Gothenburg, Sweden. Some of the planets are close to some really good MTB trails in the nearby forest Änggårdsbergen! https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%

I kept my old 13" MBP close at hand when moving over to the M1 Air. Turned out I didn't need the old MBP hardly for anything. The recent Go 1.16 in Homebrew was the final piece of the puzzle for me. Docker in preview has been real

Go is good because it’s easy to read and pickup, and it compiles really fast. I would say it’s good for request based services but I don’t think it’s as good as it can be for enterprise code. What I miss most is the lack of sum types to lim

This is just ridiculous! I’m hoping for ETH with proof-of-stake to save the face of crypto soon.

I have used Go in production for enterprise/business systems since 2015 and what I miss most is true sum types that really limits the state space of composite types. It’s being discussed somewhat actively for Go 2, and I would love to

I would suggest we all contact Philips and asks them to make these bulbs wider available. https://www.usa.philips.com/c-w/support-home/support-contact... Go to products->lighting. Here is a direct link to the S

I have been helping friends and family replace their smartphone batteries to give them new life. I recommend all of you who are comfortable with tinkering to do the same, it can go a long way!

Another cool thing with Tibber is that they provide APIs to access your usage etc. THAT is something I would like to see from all general companies. https://developer.tibber.com/docs/overview

Awesome! I’ll definitely get this. There are definitely numerous challenges with the approach, we’ll worth documenting and discussing! I’m the author of Event Horizon, a ES/CQRS toolkit for Golang: https://github.com/lo

I have a really hard time motivating myself with money, which probably is a sound thing. On the other hand when I’m committing to a project I’m super picky about the contents of it and team behind it. I have a feeling that this is what prev

Yes, definitely. And what they already have is often very useful, I find myself spontaneously traversing code bases by going to definitions and references. Quite an impressive (and non-intrusive) addition from a UI perspective.

I think the title of this post should be “Workarounds for ARM-based Apple-Silicon Mac” as in the page, it reflects the contents better. Homebrew is only mentioned in one section. It would be better to help the maintainers, by visiting the G

I would not be surprised if we will soon see a pretty big shift towards ARM on the server/cloud side as well.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me; black screen with the progress bar at 90% and a movable mouse cursor. I let it be for an hour or so, then hard reboot and it booted right up. No problems after that.

A thing which I try to practice since I switched to DDG a year ago is to not say “google” but instead “search”. They don’t deserve their own verb, let’s take it back!

This has been discussed here many times, but I still thinks it’s worth being reminded about. It’s a very universal pattern that should get more cred for being used on its own without event sourcing.

Really cool to see the details of the sale presented in the first paragraph. I wish more companies would be similarly transparent, even for running metrics about ARR etc.
