Switching to Dvorak on a Qwerty layout is really effective. It’s way more punishing to look down at the wrong keys than to not look down. Not for the impatient though!

Are you sure they list the individual commits? It looks like they summarize PRs when watching the demo screen capture. Will be interesting to see how useful it is for an open source project with diverse commit/PR message levels.

Definitely! Vegetarian food is a big part of the solution. Methane from the absurd amount of meat produced is really bad, and also contributes around 10x CO2e.

Seeing the complexity of an ICE in contrast to mechanically simpler and much more efficient electric motors is fascinating. It makes it obvious to me what will persist, and what will become the next steam machine.

With a good CLI setup good speed can be achieved. For example ZSH with the Git plugin from Oh My Zsh and history based autocompletion with arrow up gives you super speed. I rarely type more than a few characters for all my regular operation
