   you don't need npm, node, grunt....just a build for the browser of the lib, i think it's called a umd build, and include it in your html file.

   I use http://recharts.org , and i'm very happy using it since. Integrates well with react, other nice library that works well with react is https://formidable.com/open-source/victory , but less opinated
