Someone who is hellbanned suggested that the title is a lie, and this is only for their mobile hotspots - upon reading the notice, they're correct. People that have unlimited data on their mobile phone will continue to have unlimited data o

In the article, it actually says That’s users who have actually interacted with the app — and not people who hit the webpage and bounced away a second later. So it's not unique users, and is actually quite impressive either way.

I currently run an unsexy Android phone, so I could bare with something less than optimal. It runs, makes phone calls and I can play with it, so I am happy and fairly easy to please. With that being said, I just checked ebay and you're righ

To be honest, I'm rather interested in trying out a WP7 phone. The problem that I have is the fact that it's a huge barrier to entry to dish out hundreds of dollars just to test out a small device. I'm not in a position to be able to just

Squatter is a derogatory term, and I would lump in anyone who intentionally buys a domain with no intent to use it other than to sell it at an increased profit margin. I guess you and me differ here, you may think it's okay and perhaps it's

Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. I`m sure this will come back to bit him/her in the ass. DNACafe really isn't that great of a domain name, definitely not $10k worth of greatness. To anyone here who has been/is a domain squatter - how man

This does not surprise me, nor does "lack of x will kill you" and the same goes for "too much of x will harm you". Just do things in moderation, or do what you feel you need. Our bodies seem to be pretty smart and often work themselves out

Just moved from Grand Rapids, and can say there is a very small but growing startup scene in Grand Rapids. Although I didn't get to check it out, there is a great Python User Group that meets regularly (I believe every other Monday) at vari

I'm sure if twitter really wanted to fix the spam problem, they probably would/could have already. They seem to have the resources to tackle the problem, this poses the question: do they really want to? I'm sure on the business side of thin

This is the exact same setup I have; two hosted accounts and one gmail account. I had conflicting accounts with gmail + my hosted apps account, and merged them which created a bunch of issues (I was warned, I suppose) I don't know if the pe

I think he should at least attribute this article: http://sneak.datavibe.net/20110614/please-dont-do-this/ for bringing up the discussion about login links, and would seem to be the most obvious source of inspiration for this post. Don't

I use fastcgi, and it's a painless deploy + configuration as far as I'm concerned.

I agree, that's one of the reason why I choose it. I love the config file structure, and feel it's actually much quicker to get a new host up and running on nginx over Apache.

That's fair. I was merely looking for another comparison and the MySQL/PostgreSQL debate came to mind. I can't really think of anything that similarly compares to Apache/nginx.

I'm curious how many people here choose Nginx over Apache. If I have a choice in my stack, I will always choose Nginx but all too often if I'm doing work for someone else, they always demand Apache. I think it's because it's the "defacto st

As a student, I'm particular interested in learning the basics of any given domain. With the basics, I'm given enough knowledge to go out and explore that particular domain - this is how I learn and Khan Academy is AWESOME for this method.

More important than the holiday, though, is that Apple announces its quarterly results tomorrow, and they’re expected to be excellent. I've seen this guy write some pretty stupid things, but this takes the cake.
