Across various browsers and operating systems I have never encountered this... As long as my mouse isn't hovering over the controls they work perfectly for me.

True, the resolution is relatively small. If you can live with that it is great hardware for the price and everything in at least 14.04 worked perfectly.

I would strongly recommend looking for a used 2013 MacBook Air (non-Retina). I used Ubuntu on one of those for a while. You should be able to get one reasonably priced directly from Apple at this point.

AWS SimpleDB has not been in the console for a very long time. Look at the API docs. I think you can still use it. Edit: I'm pretty sure they are pushing people away from SimpleDB to Dynamo.

It isn't skipping versions. io.js is strictly following semver and have introduced breaking changes (usually due to a V8 upgrade) in each major bump.

I would definitely believe the reason being piracy. That's a massive portion of the bandwidth I'd almost guarantee it. It was a safe haven for a long while.

Since I can't reply to your reply I'm going to post here. These problems are not mutually exclusive. They are all serious problems. And you seriously think most people know what that stuff means? "Oh! Gee thanks Microsoft. Re

Right. The problem is that 99% of users are going to be using these defaults--not that you or I can't figure out how to disable it.

I'm not sure how this is blowing them out of proportion. The 'Express' configuration that nearly every user will run with sends virtually everything you do to Microsoft. Please explain how that is not a serious privacy concer

I'm pretty sure most businesses will fall under an existing SIC code. Hasn't changed in the way we handle them (payment processor) and we handle plenty of online businesses.

Pick a framework and order some devices / components. I was attempting to get into this but never got beyond toying around with GPIO on the Beaglebone. You just have to start getting the equipment and dive into it.

It does indeed. And aside from a few less-than-sane defaults I haven't had any issues with Mail and our Google Apps account at work (though I don't add accounts this way).
