Yep. But there are personal economic factors which allow me to consider it more seriously. I do find it less interesting than when I was in my 20s.

I’d be interested in defining my business using a DSL but then ultimately I’d want that to be translated into a UI. I’d love to simply map all the relationships between stock, assets, tools like invoicing, APIs all in a place like this. But

My dad, who passed away 2023, left a stack of over 100 VHS tapes full of 80s TV. It’s mostly music (esp. bass guitar orientated), steam trains, photography and I think this would make the perfect way to digest that content. Thanks for shari

I’m starting a company in my hometown to help the local area with electronic waste. We offer commissioned sales, repair, refurbish, and any other straightforward computer-based tasks. I’ve been leaning on my career as an infrastructure or D

I’m working on a musical project and the website alone fucking rocks. atticshapes.com I reviewed before adding comment, and I feel like changing info@ to webmaster@ now, in homage to the internet.

I think you could be right. At least, we know but choose or are too lazy to do anything about it. Recently I've found myself too stressed to even think about it. Too many stresses in life and I can do without the planet for now. Totall

It'z funny that I often compare the way things are to spots|zits. Something I do quietly to myself, in my own mind :-) Too much/little X causes outbursts of Y. The question is, has Earth got a few spots lurking behind the earlobes

I recently built a site for publishing photographs I am takin weekly. It’s all in Golang. Using Pulumi to deploy into AWS. CDN, API Gateway, Lambda, S3. I’m planning to add DynamoDB for metadata and the recently released S3 feature which al

I went there with my girlfriend about 5 years ago. We still laugh that it made us feel a bit unwell and had to leave. Would still recommend.

I get that people dawdle but simply that 6% of people use their phones whilst walking isn’t a problem. It’s an observation. What are they hoping to change and by how much?

I've been making sourdough bread routinely once a week. The sixth loaf, this morning, is the best yet and I'm really happy with how my familiarity with the recipe is developing. It's almost on par with the local bakery! I hav

This is terrible news. I built a weather app with DarkSky API nearly 8 years ago and have been using it ever since. I really hope I’ll manage to find some alternative.

Cannot recommend Atomic Habits enough. Basic theory is: Don’t focus on goals. Aim for processes which are easy, repeatable and rewarding. Before you know it you’ve blown the goal out of the park. I had a job where an aspect was handling int

You’ll still be able to reference the company after you have left. I’ve always left my jobs before finding another. Providing there is a market available and adequate funds I would recommend anyone to do it. After a short period of regainin
