The pervasiveness of Android would mitigate random errors. It alone can not, however, mitigate systematic errors. Apple Stores (and, employing stereotypes for maximum effect, art galleries and organic food stores) would be undercounted. B

First of all, the problem as such does not exist: illegal border crossings are at there lowest in decades, and what remains is a stream of young, eager people as easily integrated into the economy as previous generations of (Irish/Ital

I love the UK, and am actually going there tomorrow. ...and that’s exactly why I feel so strongly that they are being idiots. Nobody would care about an actually terrible country ruining its future and descending into madness.

People do have a tendency to wave at strangers, when either one is in a non-car vehicle. I. e. a boat, Train, balloon, etc.

I guess such „counter-hype“ feels like an attractive position to many. Just like general cynicism seems to be the mindset of our times. Maybe because people think being contrarian and/or negative makes them appear smart? I don’t necess

Looking at the states still condoning corporal punishment, it seems those god-lovers spend all their love on god, and have only the stick and paddle left over for their neighbors and children.

There definitely is, just not using that name. In Germany, it’s an explicit law. It just doesn’t apply in this case, because it hinges on bad faith. Incidental evidence found while following some other legitimate trails is admissible.

I feel that there's a sort of wide-spread cynicism that has far overshot its mark: people routinely disparage journalism, even though the better publishers (NYT, Economist, WSJ, etc) today are in my impression far better than ever befo

Nuclear power is dead for economic reasons. Yes, I know, engineers are somewhat insulted by the public's refusal to accept their risk modelling. That's why this has become somewhat of a cultural fight. It sometimes feels like ther

I really don't see what's lacking with CSS Grids for equal-with items. Even accommodating different sizes, and allowing reordering for packing, works fine with just CSS.
