And which is not something Spotify will change. Did you read the article? It goes into detail about that, the only thing that would probably change here is that the ads won't be read by podcasters anymore but inserted by Spotify ad-tec

Completely agreed, your comment made it sound like you were suggesting only RSS instead of any vendor-specific links to me, but I misunderstood. :)

What makes you say ad-free? Not even paying customers get ad-free podcasts on Spotify.

Which requires AntennaPod to be manually installed, which "normal people" won't do. (Either because they already have Spotify or Apple Podcasts or because they simply don't care enough.)

Good luck getting a non-tech person listening to a podcast by supplying them with an RSS link. I don't mean to be snarky, and I hate it from the bottom of my heart, but it's the sad reality. For 99,999% of people, a RSS link is no

He's wrong about what this tool provides – namely information for people who want to use GSuite for their email. In that context it makes sense that you have to allow Google "spoofing" your domain, of course. But it has nothi

A bit late, but do you by any chance have some resources to share that helped you? Started drawing a bit more lately and would love to improve beyond just practicing more.

Most of them offer that as an alternative as well, yes. For example Reeder ( http://reederapp.com/ios/ ), one of the most prominent RSS apps for iOS.

I guess your RSS reading habits are quite different from those of me and other people that are the target audience for these kinds of self-hosted solutions. Not having read status synced across my devices is not an option, I might just as w

In a way you're certainly right: Not really a big deal. But then again, it's a difference like day and night. True automation versus assisted manual task-activation. I love the shortcuts feature, but not being able to have them ru

Thanks for your warning! I'd love something like this with good implementations (and documentation as to why the implementation is good), does anyone know similar projects?

Pretty cool, there's a few services out there that do similar things, but haven't seen a open source version yet. Any plans to create a (visual?) tool to aid with creating a new plugin? Where you could click/select elements a

They did. These days “Minecraft” officially refers to the new version, while what you are talking about is called “Minecraft: Java Edition”. As of now, both are maintained, though people are afraid that Java Edition is being phased out in f

We're facing the same problem at my company, I heavily pushed towards switching to GitLab and am currently overseeing the process. While we can probably make due with CE, there are a few features that only the 10 to 15 developers in ou

The screenshotted example is nothing new, I've seen that specific thing at least 6 months ago. I don't think it has anything to do with GDPR, and as others have already mentioned it is not likely to be legal under it.
