How do you install the update from that version?

Could you maybe elaborate a bit more with your send email example? We've been struggling a bit with API design and exactly this kind of thinking everything as a resource. I'm still having a hard time to imagine exactly how "a

I've used Plex for more than five years and that happened like… three or four times. That sounds like a problem in your network setup. You can also always connect directly to it and skip the central server completely. A PMS does not ne

Hours? Could you elaborate a bit what exactly you mean with "by hand"? I'm probably not thinking manually enough, I can't come up with what could possibly that time intensive about any deployment.

That's not the case, and it would be utterly unusable for 90% of users.

Awesome, can't wait to upgrade tonight! Any news on the Linux / CLI version?

In that case I guess my trouble with your point of view lies not with the "at some point" phrase but rather with the generalization implied by "any discussion". That argument is almost always used against people who comp

OP didn't seem outraged to me, just a bit disappointed. Which I understand, because "at some point" is still far away for the new Star Wars movie. I do think that any discussion of a movie is a spoiler. It depends, but from f

I'd also be interested in this. Would love such a button that could connect via WiFi or generic BT on a Raspberry Pi or something like that, rather than a smartphone with a specific app.

iTerm2 does something like that? How/what? I've been using it for years and never heard of that, looks like once again I've been missing out on something incredibly useful for way too long. :)

Indeed. I only learned recently just how rampant – not even half of the copies of a "App Store best of the year" game were bought. ( https://twitter.com/ustwogames/status/552136427904184320 ) I wouldn'

I have to admit that I had not checked that, but I think Dexter's intro is really the same and the changing cast lists appear during the first scenes afterwards. But for most shows you're right, that would be another reason why it

I tend to agree with you, but the article wasn't supposed to be very technical in the first place, and: both those GIFs are from Dexter, the show of which I used a season in my tests. It's not completely unrelated.

The files are not encrypted. I mention the aspect of doing it with files that are already compressed and that I never expected it to work for that very reason. I just wanted to to for once actually do it and I don't see why you need to

I don't mind creating an account, but I'd let users try the product without one. I don't want to go through signing up – no matter if via OAuth or creating a dedicated account – just to find out the product doesn't suit

This issue is so universally known by now that it's almost insulting for you to even question it as "drivel". How can you be not aware of these issues? http://www.businessinsider.com/brutal-conditions-in-amazo
