95% of corporate environments: 1-2 options. Windows or macOS for the chosen few. At least the overloads I have worked for don’t allow us access unless the machine is locked down so hard that it’s borderline unusable.

That must have been a lot of pressure! There are videos floating around I have seen of running a train engine into them at full speed.

Yeah, I guess that’s a large part of what I meant. It’s a space where you can’t cut corners.

It’s not quite that simple, though. Yucca Mountain was supposed to be extremely geologically stable, and people still couldn’t swallow that pill. You still need some level of containment along with environmental studies and the additional c

Wikipedia lists it as 37 MW, which does seem to be in the same ballpark (my amateur calculations put an F-16 around 44 MW). Not sure why people are downvoting you, but objectively the Raptor really is a marvel of engineering itself (maybe l

Playing devil’s advocate, many of the judging criteria for the sports seem pretty subjective. For example if diving or gymnastics was purely objective, you wouldn’t need multiple judges (or any). Track and field is a lot more straightforwar

If it’s a simulation, there could be more trivial exploits to enable things like a teleporter or matter synthesizer. Finding out the simulation exists is the first step!

I did something similar, but scripted a curl command to update the DNS A/AAAA records that have a short TTL to the hostname. It’s also trivial if you run your own nsd/bind instance.
