I refuse to pay any money to these companies specifically AND so far I use it solely for things where copy-pasting is entirely fine. I used free trial of Claude Code and has not seemed to be superior for my usecases.

The claim was broader, specifically "Designing for the stupid users also makes life easier for the smart users. No matter what you are designing" it can be in fact improvement for both but in many cases it is not
