As a Northern Irish person born in England to a French mother, I have no stake in either side. What I will say is the marching for hours on end annoys me , let alone native Catholic Norn Ironers. Especially when the burn effigies of young

Yeah, I'm sorry, but as a citizen of the UK, the US system of bail and bail bounty hunters is just nuts. A child could see that it is incredibly regressive (in the economic sense of the word).

Right now if you want to connect a third party application to your most online banking accounts you need to give that third party application your online banking username/password, or log in to your online banking through the app. The

I’m the same, in fact, I use an app which aims to do the opposite to BitBar: it’s called BarTender, and it lets you hide any menu bar items under a single drop down. This includes items added by the system (e.g. network status, Siri). Altho

Maybe I should learn how to use SourceTree, but using an abstraction over git kind of makes me nervous because I don't know what it's doing in the background. I suppose it would be pretty simple to learn what it's doing, but

Just so you know, when I visited the article from my iPad I was prompted to download one of those scam iPad cleaner apps. It’s a 10” iPad Pro (maybe you can check the log and see which advertiser is being naughty).

A similar thing used in the PHP ORM Doctrine. It lets you call methods on repositories that don't actually exist, for example: repository.findBy<Property>() That's one example of a real use that isn't just makin

I don't know if I would sack them right off the bat, but I would definitely keep a very close eye on them. The fact that they are adults in the workplace who steal from colleagues definitely points to their character simply being incom

This has been big news in the UK for a while now. The child is unfortunately seriously sick in such a way that he will never get better, and, from what I've read, doctors aren't sure exactly what is causing it. He will never be ab

Who steals other people's food? This is completely bizarre to me. Do these people do it every day and just never bring their own lunch? Do they just see something that takes their fancy and decide to nick it? The mind boggles.

That’s not too difficult if the area you live/work in has a good scene for your favourite genres of music. The music I listen to tends to be pretty DIY (very small gigs in front of 20-50 people), and more weeks than not I find myself a

You can put the parameter names in method calls, which makes for much more readable code. Like a makeRange method may take parameters `from` and `to`, when calling this method you could do `makeRange(from: 0, to:10)`. That’s a fairly trivia
