It would be great if Docker integrated / embedded that instead of forcing users to download / configure VirtualBox + boot2docker.

It's not solved, because method arguments are evaluated eagerly. It means that message argument may not be an expensive expression, because it will be calculated independently whether debug is enabled or not. In case of macros argument

Immutable infrastructure can be implemented using sole Dockerfile and Docker Compose. And Docker Machine can create/manage whole environments on various types of cloud providers.

That would make implementing search quite hard so I'd say - it's pretty likely they don't encrypt it.

The braces become "invisible" after some training. Different elements of the program are distingishable. "+" is different from "if", which is different from "42".

In fact JVM is pretty fast. If you run a simple java app without dependencies and only displaying "Hello world" it will run in about 1s on modern hardware. The problem with Clojure is AFAIR related to parsing and loading a big nu

Maybe change 100% invisibility to about 20%. That should make it barely visible, but less confusing. It would show underneath content so it would still be useful.

One solution would be to have a hierarchy of contexts displayed in the note app. (Like breadcrumbs in file explorer). User could switch between context levels manually.

It is property of the language - type annotations. Yes - maybe types can be infered, but I haven't seen any IDE with good refactorings for languages without types annotations (smalltalk doesn't count).
