If an employee of yours spent hours every day attacking you.... would you keep them employed? Why not?

I mean... yes? A company pays you to work. If you are using company resources, during company time, to attack your company... why exactly would they keep you employees? She was warned multiple times. It's quite amazing this court let t

I'd imagine this is more common than one would think, unfortunately. Has SF tried to determine how much "fresh food" is purchased through this program? What qualifies as "success" here?

Very interesting approach, however I wonder if the combination of Codex + Work in the same app makes sense? I could see a world where the technical needs of a developer are hampered by the overall superapp architecture. I guess we'll s

Except in the many, many cases where layoffs help the company focus on a core product.

Yeah, I agree. Also, there's little evidence that consumers really care about this. Batteries last a long time now.

Didn't care? Consumers don't care about this. Like most EU laws, this is a solution in search of a problem. Nintendo, like every other tech company, did the research and found that people simply don't care about this stuff. N

Also, you have no idea how I've voted. The fact that you make such assumptions is all the evidence that shows your arguments are about as strong as a wet cardboard box. What a way to convince people to join your party!

You are just literally wrong. Your side keeps yapping that line, but it's just entirely false outside of Bluesky and the Groups. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/07/01/polls/times-s...

The lack of a coherent border policy from 2020-2023 is.... right-wing propaganda? Were you alive during that time? I honestly can't tell if you are trolling or just dumb. The border was complete chaos and cost the dems the election. Yo

If you don't think companies realize this I suggest you talk to some leaders. It's a very obvious issue with any layoff and is why they are usually the last option.

Weird project? They have many members of congress. Right wing money? How about common sense. Socialism has never, and will never, work.

I too was young and idealistic at one point. You should start that company and guarantee that you will never lay anyone off. Will you do it? Why not? Please don't make excuses. If it's easy, you should be able to!

We already have choice - people can buy many different types of phones. Nothing about this is about choice or the free market. They want special treatment. Apple is free to do what they want. The EU can go and try and build their own iPhone

We already have user choice - it's called buying an iPhone or not. Nobody is forced to buy an iPhone, or a smartphone at all. The EU is just a disaster with these laws. They can't innovate so they do this.
