What has become of early Covid reportings, like the (alleged) Italian finding of Covid-19 in blood samples from Sept. 2019 taken in Lombardy (and similar findings in sewage sampoles from Barcelona)? Has there been any clear proof establishe

I'm not sure if awareness of the dangers of UV damage serves an explanation. The area covered isn't huge and tights aren't typical regions for skin cancer. Having said that, the heightened awareness may introduce a cultural b

There may be cultural differences (esp. regarding the US, which were generally known as somewhat prudish in these concerns), but in Europe sporty swimwear (rather by Adidas and similar domestic brands than real Speedos) was the default. Any

Hum. While (or because?) I love the sentiment of "still no running water", too much of available resources has gone and is going into putting existing things in software and a rather small number of classes of products around this

I agree with the (counter)cultural aspect and that after more than a generation isn't a hot new thing anymore. But it's not only nudity, it's also swimwear. Especially to be observed with young males, where we went from Speed

Regarding the Atari VCS (2600) it should be mentioned that the functionality of these ports is actually defined by the TIA (Television Interface Adaptor) chip. This provides the following capabilities (to be configured by a port register):

P.S.: In non-behavoristic terms: The term "understanding" is linked not only to the internal semantic field and its structure, as maintained by an individual, but also to its state of mind . We crucially expect the state of mind

Well, this, the Chinese Room, is still pretty much a behavioristic work-around (as it is still attempting to argue without any reference to internal states.) Even, if we don't (clearly) understand what "understanding" means,

This should be really "react to" or "answer to", instead of "understand". These are not the same. Edit: Anthropomorphizing algorithms and pattern stores doesn't really help understanding. Instead, it'

Not so sure about those medieval towns: you can't navigate them by bus, anything rail-related is out of question for the terrain, but transport is still essential. It won't be internal combustion engines, but still cars.

I don't believe the mantra. Not every road is in the US and there are more driving scenarios than highways. There's a long way to go until self driving cars will be able to master the tiny streets and complex (behavioral) patterns
