Very little, I'm guessing; cstore_fdw is not remotely competitive with mature analytics DBMS. see here: https://tech.marksblogg.com/benchmarks.html

No, MC definitely uses that data as part of their anti-spam operations. Source: have attended a few presentations by MC anti-abuse people.

I think it's more a practical concern than something that can be proven conclusively; the behavior characteristics (e.g., collision probability) are known for a given hash function, and if you're implementing HLL, you choose an ap

Another comparison: iptables with its hard-to-remember syntax, vs ufw. As UFW is just a wrapper for iptables, I wonder if there's a real possibly of a Git replacement just being a wrapper that simplifies the syntax and maybe some of th

Thanks for the insight! Maybe it was just a brain fart, but I had to look up BQ (BigQuery) just now - the acronym might not be as well-known outside of Google.

This is fantastic, thanks so much for putting this together. In the past I've relied a bit too much on benchmarks here [0] for assessment of warehousing solutions, but it's pretty clearly skewed toward certain query patterns due t

Make sure SPF, DKIM, and From domains are all at the same root/parent domain. AKA "alignment" in DMARC - this can help even without a full DMARC record. Tighten your engagement segmentation for Gmail. Repeat every 2 weeks if

In short: ARC builds on top of DMARC to fix some cases that DMARC didn't handle well. (And DMARC, in turn, builds on top of DKIM and SPF.) DMARC is overall a very good thing, and has significantly cut back on the effectiveness of forge

And it's... really not all that fast when compared to mature analytical databases. ClickHouse on identical hardware is ~ 100x faster than cstore_fdw. http://tech.marksblogg.com/benchmarks.html More interesting to me is

No. If 99.9% of rides don't involve this kind of problem, the additional time people (users + drivers) are unnecessarily spending taking and approving pictures is going to exceed the costs from incidents like this. That, and it's
