In Australia domestically, you can show your QR code on your phone or print the ticket at home (or even use the kiosks at the airport to print it out). You still need to pass through one set of security screening, but expect the queue (away

NPP is fantastic. (Often referred to as PayID, Fast Payment or Osko, depending on your bank here in Australia). Last Friday I was able to buy an item from a friend while we both standing in his driveway - he confirmed the payment on his acc

Interesting. Having just been discharged from hospital after a 22 days stay, I would hope an awful lot of data is in my record. I had blood taken daily, I think standard obs (observations) at least 4 times a day, electronic scans (CT, Xray,

I installed the Tasks app on my Pixel. I saw my reminders were all in My Tasks. I easily created anew list. I cannot see how I can move a task from the default bucket My Tasks to my new list. Am I missing something?

As a chronic leukaemia patient (twice chemo campaign treated - currently in middle of one) I'd like to see this study done on my group. I have certainly tried to be fitter in advance of current treatment that started 17 days ago.

It will get you more than 15 minutes on the couch watching TV. How disingenuous can you be.

Correct. rest is as important for recovery as exercise. gentle exercise, ie walking, to your energy capacity is good. Your brain also uses energy. I registered some domain names and obtained a business number during the wee hours yesterday

My cancer centre only delivers chemo while ina comfy recliner. They encourage gentle exercise each day. For me this is walking with my dog and wife, and maybe a little safe DIY. I have low platelets and WCC at the moment so can't affor

I quite like the CVT, but yeah my Outback paint is pretty much not up to the task of protecting from the Aussie sun, the branches and nuts that fall out of the, and birds and bats that poop all over it. I actually like cars that look nice b

Same here in Australia. I actually think we have developed the technology (and the matching legislation) that allows pole mounted cameras to detect this while driving at 110kmh down the expressway. I know many people that have been "bu

I'm sure it's the type of thing in an Elon meeting he would say "Surely we can think of a solution better than relying on drivers to provide meaningful input to the desired outcome?"

Is the problem that the same systems are used for car media and potentially other systems and that encoders "can" be more flexible if they need to be?

Surely 5 is a warranty claim. I actually went through 3 head units on my 2014 Subaru XV with a very similar sounding issue.

This is great satire. I just can't understand how people go home at night knowing that this thing they built could easily have got right but they just got it so wrong. I think the big "system constraint" isn't so much th

Such a great article. My current car, a 2018 Subaru Outback, has an infotainment touch screen, that I use, but it really isn't that much better than the older button controls on my 2007 Toyota Landcruiser. I'm glad in both cars co
