I'm also left handed and don't usually have a problem with scissors, unless they're bad quality scissors. I also use the mouse with my right hand and I'm always surprised by how many left-handers actually ended up using

I started using it in the last couple of days after reading this and I find it amazing. It's limited in the sense that it may lack templates and a lot of other things, but it's so easy to code for it, that I expect the community w

Might still be pretty limited, but I've been looking for something with a more modern syntax for years, and this seems a good candidate! Thanks for sharing. Of course it will take years to replace LaTeX, but we need to begin working on

I'm also an Italian who taught himself how to code at 16 (I'm now 34), although not even remotely at your level. Then I studied physics, did a PhD, a postdoc about neural networks, etc., but I felt that what mattered to me the mos

If a guy becomes famous almost exclusively for having a beef with someone else (and this someone else really doesn't need to beat any drum in order to be famous), then something is wrong. Basically these days this is what Schmidhuber i

I teach in a high school that is very humanities-focused (and the students explicitly want that, they chose it). I realized statistics was not taught, and I introduced a module on it for my classes. I thought it was insane to do three chapt

I had a wonderful trip in Thailand last year by doing two things: 1. roadtripping: I rented a motorcycle and chose a (relatively touristy) destination, but enjoyed the trip to get there over several days, during which I designed my own itin

You should not be relying on an interview for evidence anyway. I am no expert and I have no opinion one way or another. But you shouldn't have preconceived opinions either. Look for scientific literature if you're interested.

People think in different ways and have different levels of education. We would never learn if we weren't allowed to ask silly questions. It is very important not to discourage people from asking them.
