Why the rename? Pijul is already a bit known and I saw other projects reference it (such as most recently a peer to peer GitHub thingy that appeared on the front page of HN). Why is it not just the next incompatible update of Pijul?

It's an hommage to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unreasonable_Effectiveness... The title has become a meme just like "... considered harmful".

No. A trivial counterexample would be base 7.

Have you tried penciclovir? Works like a charm for me, albeit topically, I don't know if it's available for systemic treatment.

It's weird that Berlin is not on the list. Hardly any city has seen such a price increase in the last decade.

Amazing, this was a hit in Hungary when I was little, my mother used to love it. https://youtu.be/-0mlFNmj-vU

It would be interesting to see how the described effect depends on linguistic proximity. Does bilingualism of e.g. English and Chinese or German and Turkish protect better against cognitive decline than Castilian and Catalan?

Mass is converted to energy by every chemical reaction! Say you have a mixture of rust and aluminium powder, which you ignite (the thermite reaction). It results in iron, aluminium oxide and heat. The resulting matter will weigh a tiny bit

It's incredible to me how Microsoft was able to blow that chance with Skype. Just a while ago Skype used to be the generic trademark. "I'm skyping with my girlfriend"

Couldn't you have used an already existing format for storage, e.g. Apache ORC?

That one is not so odd. If you drive 10 mph and accelerate to 23 mph, you're now 130% faster. You can do the same if you measure rendering speed in fps.

Yeah, absolutely nothing happened. Also no cell broadcast. Yeah well, I guess Berlin doesn't really matter, it's not like it's the freaking capital or something...

Being an obviously little short sighted European, it blows my mind that 1) bread boxes are not used everywhere and 2) it's not common knowledge that bread will get moldy when stored in a plastic bag. Happens even in temperate climate.

This is nothing special, it's commonly used e.g. with GraphQL (the `gql` tag).

Why is branching a problem? Since `if` is now enabled in a const fn, it's trivial to rewrite && with & and if.

You were never not born, and you will never be dead. The concept of time is meaningless if it's not experienced, so as far as you're concerned it won't exist, and what doesn't exist can also not be infinite.

Not OP, but in my company we do develop locally, however, merged feature branches are deployed to a AWS environment for testing. The environment is identical to production, but with smaller instances. Betas are deployed to yet another ident

Nice! And how do you parse SQL? Do you use Postgres's parser or did you have to implement one yourself?

It's that true? Opti-3 has lots of DHA + EPA.

by marton78 6y ago
Go for Omega-3 sourced from algae, that's where the fish get it from. The algae are grown artificially, so you avoid both pollutants and participating in the destruction of our oceans. I take Opti-3 [1], it had the highest (DHA + EPA)

Yes. Driving on the autobahn without speed limit is our 2nd amendment.

Looks nice! An suggestion: you might want to consider renaming "theme" to "topic" (or "epic"). Also, what about sprints? As of now, kitemaker is solely usable for Kanban, right?
