I feel like they haven't really been about "the community" since they started selling most Pis to companies who use them in their products instead of to regular people, and then calling it "supply chain issues".

You can do 2.5G on a single lane of PCIe 3 (maybe also 2?). That makes it way easier to implement electrically. Also, 2.5Gbit uses a lot less power (and generates less heat) than 10Gbit.

I've read some horror stories about big solar installations not getting a license to be connected to the grid after installation (either because the grid is "full" or because of bureaucracy working super slowly). Is that a pr

The "green" parties around Europe also tried to get people to switch to solar/wind and other renewables. But the parties in charge (with their oil company lobbyists) didn't want that. And now those parties are blaming th

Even when you rewrite the commit history, the old objects are kept for a while (or until you forcibly expire them). You can find the "old" commits using "git reflog". I've fixed a lot of botched rebases with that :)

Maybe they're trying to write around the term "Coefficient of performance" (COP) for people who have never heard of heat pumps. I think a COP of 2 at 5°F (-15°C) is pretty good.
