The ASF has used this for years. Except for a few projects that have been piloting using GitHub it was mainly used as mirror repositories for repositories hosted at the ASF.

I get that, but when you have that first estimation meeting with the team they inevitably ask what a point is. They get the relative sizing idea but you still need to size the first stories.

Interesting article, I have a few comments/questions Story points - there is a lot in theory I like about these and you hit on those points. But in practice where my teams have struggled is still in the definition of a point. People u
