That is the question. Personally, I'd argue that Twitter and Google+ are informative, but there are significant differences to be sure. I haven't been much involved in Google+ communities, I wonder if 'Not Mine' pressure

I agree with this approach. Keep the number of individual stocks you invest in at a manageable level. Know why you invested in them, and go long. IMO the longer you go, the less noise in the decision-making. Ex: Ford is at >$2. Will Ford

Thanks for the feedback. I'm actually in the midst of a new user flow redesign. We also have some new ideas for non-feed browsing that we will be trying out. We've tried a few approaches to make the site a bit easier to ease into.

Our approach is that the author can choose up to two tags, and the community (excluding newbies) can add a third. The most suggested community tag is the current tag.

Price stability is the only way to lose the interest of the investment crowd. I think it will happen eventually, but it might be so far away that another similar currency might become preferred for exchange first.

This is true. Until BTC can be insured, and thus, easy for most people to feel secure having, bitcoin is going to have a serious drag on widespread adoption.

I don't think it's possible to build a system without human intervention that keeps the bad content out and promotes interesting discussions. I disagree. IMHO it can be accomplished with the correct structure. The problem you identify is
